An ultra-high performance thermal interface material, Conductonaut Extreme can keep these components up to 15°C Ccooler than traditional thermal pastes. When paired with a custom vapor chamber and four dedicated exhaust vents, this thermal solution transfers heat out of the system incredibly efficiently. ROG’s Intelligent Cooling™ technology allows critical components like the CPU and GPU to maintain higher boost frequencies for longer periods of time, keeping your framerate smooth and steady even during extended gaming sessions. The SCAR 17 SE keeps noise in check, too: when in Performance mode, the Strix SCAR does not exceed 40 dB.
 
UNLOCK THE CIPHER
The sleek aesthetic of the 2022 ROG Strix SCAR 17 SE holds an extra secret in addition to cutting-edge components: specially developed invisible ink. Traditional invisible ink wouldn’t adhere firmly when applied to the metal lid, so our R&D team painstakingly created a new substance from scratch. It took six months and seven formulations to perfect, but this new metallic textured ink has passed all our wear and durability tests. A subtle cypher on the lid of the laptop can be brightened with the included UV flashlight, exposing hidden messages in cryptic cyber-stylized text.
