The DiskStation DS1621xs+ runs on Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) OS, which is a browser-based operating system which helps to simplify managing your Synology NAS. Its CPU is a 2.2 GHz Intel Xeon D-1527 Quad-Core with a burst frequency of up to 2.7 GHz, and its 8GB of DDR4 ECC RAM, which can be upgraded to 32GB, allows frequently-used files and applications to be quickly accessed. The NAS is capable of achieving read speeds of up to 3100 MB/s and when connected to two DX517 expansion units, up to 16 total drives are supported.

Also featured are three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, which allow it to be connected to your Windows or Mac system, as well as two eSATA ports. Network connectivity is achieved via the 10GbE port, or two Gigabit Ethernet ports, both of which support Link Aggregation and Failover, allowing your stored data to be shared with users throughout the network. Data may also be made remotely available through the free iOS and Android applications. For those who require RAID support, the DS1621xs+ supports a variety of modes, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, each of which offers performance, data redundancy, or a combination of both. For those who do not require a RAID, JBOD is also available, allowing each drive bay to be individually utilized.

The DS1621xs+ is engineered to be energy efficient. Not only does it offer dual 92 x 92mm fans to help keep the system running cool, its noise-dampening design of 25.2 dB(A) makes for quiet operation. The server supports numerous scheduled power on/off cycles and hard-drive hibernation to further minimize power consumption and operation expenses.

The Synology DiskStation DS1621xs+ 6-Bay NAS Enclosure operates using a 250W power supply that runs using 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz. Included is an accessory pack, a power cord, and two RJ45 LAN cables. It is protected by a limited 5-year warranty.

We will endeavour to process and ship your orders within 2 to 3 days of receiving your order. If the order is within Lusaka it can take between 1-2 working days to receive the order from the date since it has been ordered.

Free shipping and delivery can be within Lusaka if the value is above ZMK 1000. For all orders below ZMK 1000, a minimal charge will be applied per order. Delivery to Out of Service Areas will incur extra charges as per the location from the shop. The recipient of an international shipment may be subjected to pay Customs Duties or fees as levied by the destination country. We have no control over these charges and are unable to calculate what they may be. International shipping times vary by carrier & destination (7-15 working days)

Exchange or Return is possible only if the product is not damaged or the packaging is not broken

To look into your return or exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. For returns, it is the customer’s responsibility to deliver the item back to Anfio.

 

 

For the customer’s convenience, Anfio may be able to provide an option for collection via courier at a nominal rate.
